Nandi Bushell Drums With Double Pedals For First Time During Slipknot Cover

During the holiday weekend, Nandi Bushell gifted us with another unreal cover, this time showing off her "metal head" side by drumming along to Slipknot's "Unsainted" off last year's We Are Not Your Kind. The 10-year-old revealed it was her first time attempting double pedals, and unsurprisingly, she totally nailed it.

"Yes! I am a total metal head! I love how awesome the drumming is in @Slipknot !" Bushell wrote in the video's YouTube description. "This is my first attempt at double pedals! Taking my playing to the next level. This song is called I #unsainted by #slipknot! Incredible drumming Jay Weinberg! This song brings my A game Corey Taylor"

The young musical prodigy has been a bright light in an otherwise pretty dark year. Aside from offering jaw-dropping covers of songs by Nirvana, Coldplay, Muse, and more, she also challenged (and beat) Dave Grohl in an epic drum battle and began dropping some original songs. In September, she shared "Rock and Grohl, the Epic Battle" — a song written about her drum battle with the Foo Fighters frontman — and earlier this month Bushell released her second song, "Gods and Unicorns." We can't see what 2021 has in store for her!
