Finneas Dishes on His Forthcoming Debut Album, New Music & More

I caught up with Finneas the other day on 102.7's KIIS FM's The Vibe and all I can say is get excited for new music from the Grammy winner!

Billie Eilish's uber talented brother shared he's been working hard on new music during quarantine and that his forthcoming debut album was nearly finished, but given the world's shift amid COVID-19 and the protesting occurring across the nation, he's going to take a beat.

"Going into quarantine, in March, I felt like I had a pretty clear first half … and then the whole world kind of changed and I felt a real responsibility," he shared. "… I’ve got to like take this in and live through this all and internalize it and let that be part of this record.”

The "Let's Fall in Love for the Night" artist dropped his debut album Blood Harmony in 2019 and has been recording via Zoom with some artists, but added, as we all know, Zoom can be awkward.

"[Benny Blanco] and I, we're close enough that a Zoom session made sense," he explained. "I feel like I’m a little shy about doing Zoom sessions with people I don’t know because ... it can be awkward."

That said, he's full steam ahead.
