You Have to Listen to Beyoncé's Powerful Graduation Speech, Seriously

YouTube had a star-studded virtual commencement ceremony called “Dear Class of 2020” and Beyoncé was one of the big names that gave a speech, alongside Taylor Swift, Michelle Obama, Justin Timberlake and more.

I find commencement speeches to be extremely inspirational and Beyoncé's definitely didn’t’ fall short.

One thing that really struck me in her speech was the importance of betting on yourself and recalling her decision to build her own company a decade ago and how she basically had to blaze a trail for herself because no other woman was doing what she wanted to do at the time

She also touched upon believing in yourself.

"If you’ve ever been called dumb, unattractive, overweight, unworthy, untalented, well so have I,” she said." Yes, I’ve been blessed to have 24 Grammys, but I’ve lost 46 times. That meant rejection 46 times. Please don’t ever feel entitled to win, just keep working harder.”

She also shed light onto what is happening right now in the a very profound way and it's well worth spending a few minutes to watch the video in full above -- it really gave me some wind in my wings…
