'AT40' Recap: Post Malone Returns to the Top of the Chart

This week "Slow Dance" by AJ Mitchell and Ava Max falls off the chart, while the only debut is “Good Thing” by Zedd and Kehlani coming in at #38.

The track is Zedd’s 14th AT40 hit, and his sixteenth different collaborator. Others include Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Maren Morris, Jon Bellion, Alessia Cara, Foxes, Hayley Williams, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and Elley Duhé.

Fun fact: Black Eyed Peas and J Balvin move up 3 spots to #36 with “RITMO (Bad Boys For Life).” The song heavily samples “Rhythm of the Night” by Corona, which hit #8 in 1995. Can BEP pass up Corona? We’ll find out in the weeks to come!

Ed Sheeran scores the biggest mover of the week with "South of the Border" featuring Camila Cabello and Cardi B, which is up 8 spots to #23.

In the Top 3, after reigning the chart for 4 weeks, Lizzo drops down 2 spots to #3 with "Good As Hell," while "Lose You To Love Me" by Selena Gomez inches closer to the top moving up 1 spot to #2.

And Post Malone returns to #1 with “Circles” after six weeks at #2. That makes it the longest amount of time to return to #1 since Savage Gardens “Truly Madly Deeply” took a record setting 9 weeks to rebound to the top in 1998.
