HK from Brockhampton Tells Us Why They Called Their New Album 'Ginger'

The most popular hip hop collective in the world right now is Brockhampton and their new album Ginger is expected to drop later this month.

The album title has fans wondering exactly what its referencing. Is it a nod to redheads or the spicy root?

Well according to group member HK, it's neither.

"Ginger represents the underdogs. Ginger represents the people fighting to make it to the top with everything going against them and with their back against a wall," he explains. "It has nothing to do with people with red hair, but if you want it to be that's fine. But that's what I think Ginger means."

Ginger, which is expected to debut at #1.
