Drake Receives A $550,000 OVO Jacket From The Toronto Raptors: See The Gift

Being a superfan sometimes pays off — even for someone like Drake.

Despite word of a supposed curse, the Toronto Raptors love how much the rapper supports the team and showed their gratitude on Tuesday (May 21) when he was presented with a custom-made Raptors/OVO jacket worth a whopping $550,000. As per a press release from Garrison Bespoke, the jacket, which includes Drizzy's owl logo and the team's slashed basketball sigil, features 235 handset diamonds made with Diamond Foundry diamonds. Over on social media, the folks behind Diamond Foundry shared their excitement over the gift. "We are so thrilled to have partnered with @garrisonbespoke to create this one-of-a-kind custom piece for @champagnepapi presented by Toronto @raptors President, Masai Ujiri," they captioned a series of shots of Drake receiving the gift. "The jacket is made from 100 year old deadstock jersey cloth from the House of Dormeuil’s private collection and adorned with 235 diamonds created by #diamondfoundry."

Speaking with The Star, Michael Nguyen, the clothier behind the jacket, gushed about the one-of-a-kind piece. "This is truly a 1 of 1 piece," he said. "Both the jersey inside, which Drake himself helped design, and this very special piece of cloth. And the diamonds, of course."

Drizzy was courtside and cheered on the Toronto Raptors during the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. The Raptors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 120-102, to tie up the series 2-2.
