Why Brendon Urie Almost Couldn't Collaborate with Taylor Swift on 'ME!'

When a pop queen like Taylor Swift asks you to collaborate on a song it would be understandable for any artist to have the cold sweats when they finally meet her.

But for Panic at the Disco’s Brendon Urie it was unavoidable because he was battling a horrible flu.

"I showed up to the studio with a 104 degree fever and that was horrible, but she greeted me with the warmest hug and thing of throat coat tea," he tells PopCrush. "We did the song. I gave her the bridge. We worked on it together, it was beautiful. It was like the most fun I’ve had with a collaboration."

Taylor and Brendon’s “ME!” is out now.
