The nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced yesterday and A Star is Born leads the way with four nominations overall.
These awards are given to actors by their peers, so for many performers winning one is among the biggest honors they can receive.
Both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga will compete for Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role in the Actor and Actress categories respectively.
And Sam Elliott, who played Bradley’s older brother is up for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.
A Star is Born will also compete in the night’s most prestigious award Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
The SAG Awards will air live on TNT January 27th.
