Why Florence Welch Feels More Comfortable on Stage Than One-On-One

Florence Welch recently delivered what might be her most vulnerable and intimate Florence + the Machine record to date, High As Hope.

They are currently out on tour where she’s singing those incredibly personal lyrics night-after-night, but she’s actually comfortable doing it.

In fact, it can be hard to adjust after the tour ends.

Florence tells Rolling Stone: "When you allow yourself to be that vulnerable in front of so many people, it then becomes this weird thing of just walking out on the street and one person looking at you becomes this extreme thing you can’t handle."

"I can get a little bit edgy about going out," she adds with a laugh. "It makes me a super fun person to date."
