Lady Gaga Hits The Studio (Again) With 'Joanne' Collaborator: See The Photo

Lady Gaga has been spotted at yet another recording studio, leading Little Monsters to question just how much progress has been made on the pop titan's follow-up to 2016's Joanne, or any of her current projects for that matter.

On Sunday (July 15), Mark Nilan Jr., who teamed up with the singer on the piano re-working of her latest album's title track, "Joanne," took to Instagram to share a shot with Gaga and several other collaborators. "When @thebenjaminrice and I lock eyes, the rest of the world seems to fade away," he captioned the photo, which featured producer Benjamin Rice, trumpeter Gary Grant, among others. Besides listing the accomplishments of some of Grant's work, he showed love to the 32-year-old pop chart-topper, writing, "@ladygaga is a great conduct. She brings the hype and the inspiration."

Elsewhere in the comment section, the producer revealed that fans would be able to hear the new track sometime before the year wraps up. In mid-July, Nilan Jr. also shared a soundless video of Gaga conducting a full orchestra. "You can go ahead and add conducting to the long list of her skills. We had the orchestra coming in. Music prepared. Then decided to add orchestra to 1 more song, with 1 hour before the start time," he captioned the post.

It's unknown as to what Gaga project the collective worked on, but there is plenty of music in the works. Not only is she working on a new album, but she is also rumored to be working with Tony Bennett on a follow-up to 2014's Cheek to Cheek, as well as music for her forthcoming film, A Star Is Born, which stars Bradley Cooper.

Despite the whispers around another Bennett team-up, Gaga has been linked to several other notable collaborators in recent months, including Sophie, DJ White Shadow, BloodPop, Boyz Noize and more. It all might seem pretty vague right now, but you know that when Storm Gaga hits, it's going to hit hard. Stay tuned!
