Selena Gomez Stars in Creepy Instagram IGTV Horror Film

Warning! This is actually kind of terrifying. Selena Gomez has teamed up with Petra Collins to star in the artist’s new horror short for IGTV, Instagram’s new long video platform.

In the short video posted to Collins’ IGTV on Wednesday, June 20, Gomez can be seen sucking on an eyeball, eating icing off her leg with a knife and submerged in a bathtub with disembodied faces.

“A Love Story dir by mee 🎥 lil short with @selenagomez 🥀 u can watch excerpts from it on IGTV on my profile⛓,” Collins shared on Instagram along with a photo of Gomez in a tub.

Collins and Gomez have previously discussed wanting to film a horror movie together. "I love The Exorcist and the things that come from inside you," Collins told Vanity Fair. "The things that are a little more subtle, and things that you deal with from inwards, and I feel like it's something Selena and I both love talking about … that topic is sort of dear to us."

The short comes as one of the first celebs involved in Instagram’s new rollout. The social media platform joined forces with Kim Kardashian on Wednesday at her popup store to help announce the new feature.

The new app will feature full-screen, hour-long videos created by some of your favorite publishers, celebrities and even friends you follow on Instagram.

You can access IGTV two ways. There's a button in the top right part of the Instagram app, next to the DM button, or you can download the app separately. There's four different categories for the videos: For You, Following, Popular, and Continue Watching.

"In IGTV, the creators are the channels," Instagram co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom said via a press release. "When you follow a creator on Instagram, their IGTV channel will show up for you to watch. Anyone can be a creator — you can upload your own IGTV videos in the app or on the web to start your own channel."
