The Chainsmokers Explore New Sound On 'You Owe Me': Watch The Deadly Video

Fresh off the release of January's "Sick Boy," The Chainsmokers have another new track to share with fans called "You Owe Me," which dropped on Friday (February 16).

At almost-four minutes, "You Owe Me," offers less of the usual glitz that you'd expect from the EDM pair and focuses more on a pop/rock sound that would find placement somewhere within the realm of 21 Pilots's catalog. In fact, it's a pretty big leap from their usual love-struck Top 40 anthems as they take a dark look at isolation. "You don't know me/ Don't you think that I get lonely?/ It gets dark inside my head/ Check my pulse and if I'm dead you owe me/ If you're lonely," Drew Taggart sings atop the Shaun Frank-produced melody.

Meanwhile, Alex Pall and Taggart's video for the track also takes a different direction as they play the roles of bloodsucking vampires and, let's just say, it might not be a safe idea for you to attend any of their upcoming dinner parties. You can expect to hear this new cut, as well as all your favorite Chainsmokers hits, at their Las Vegas residency at XS Nightclub in addition to their upcoming shows across the globe.
