Luke Bryan knew that signing onto the American Idol reboot as a judge would require a lot of work, but the singer tells On Air With Ryan Seacrest it’s been the most rewarding job yet.
“It’s like the most exciting, rewarding job in the world … watching the American dream unfold in front of your eyes and being some what of a facilitator and a guide and be able to offer up little suggestions to these immensely talented people — it’s a daggone blast!” Luke shared when he called into OAWRS on Thursday, December 7. “You know its going to be a lot of work … but I’ve loved every second of it.”
One aspect of the show that Luke appreciates most is that you don’t have to win American Idol to become a star.
“I’m really proud of us because we truly are focused on one goal and we want to find several American Idols,” he added. “That’s the best thing about Idol. No. 1 doesn’t mean that’s going to necessarily be the American Idol in five years. When you get the opportunity to be in the top 5, you’re putting yourself in a unique situation.”
