JAY-Z & Beyonce Pose In Elevator For the First Time Since Solange Fight

It appears that JAY-Z and Beyoncé have closed the door on their infamous 2014 elevator spat. On Monday (December 4), the couple was spotted leaving the Angelika Film Center in New York City, as Beyoncé gleefully smiled for photo-hungry paparazzi.

In a video shared by TMZ, JAY-Z was heard telling photographers, "Hurry up, come get it," as he and his wife entered the theatre elevator. The couple were celebrating the MC's 48th birthday Monday evening, after Beyoncé catered to her beau and rented out the theatre for a private viewing of Wonder Wheel

In 2014, JAY-Z and Beyoncé encountered public scrutiny after Solange attacked the 4:44 rapper during their elevator ride. The trio were leaving a Met Gala after party when things quickly went haywire. After the footage surfaced, statements were made from the parties involved regarding the incident, downplaying the entire altercation. In an interview with Rap Radar last September, the Brooklyn lyricist debunked claims of a potentially strained relationship between he and his sister-in-law.

“She’s like my sister. I will protect her. That’s my sister, not my sister-in-law. My sister. Period.… We’ve always had a great relationship,” he said.
