Phillip Phillips performed "Gone, Gone, Gone," which will be his next single, Tuesday on NBCs The Today Show and also got to do the weather. Phillips joined a number of the shows guests, including Scarlett Johansson, in pinch-hitting for weatherman Al Roker, who was suffering from laryngitis.
Although it hasnt been announced yet, a label rep confirmed for us that "Gone, Gone, Gone" will be the American Idol winners follow-up to "Home," which was recently certified double-platinum. No release date has been set for it yet.
