Not only do Megan and Liz have a new single, but they will be opening for Taylor Swift at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Michigan-born YouTube sensations Megan and Liz are now rising to the top of the main stage music world. In May, the 19-year-old twin sisters won Macy’s iHeart Radio Rising Star contest for a chance to perform in Las Vegas at the sold out music festival—and now they have a new single releasing on iTunes!

The iHeartRadio Music Festival is a two day event in which some of the biggest names in music come together to perform on one stage. And it’s fitting that Megan and Liz have been asked to perform, having garnered more than 160 million views and more than 825,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel. In fact, their channel is the 30th most subscribed music channel on YouTube.

The girls posted on their website in July that they will be opening for none other than fellow singer-songwriter Taylor Swift at the festival, which will take place from September 21st to September 22nd at the MGM Grand hotel.  It’s been quite a year for these girls—but it’s not over yet.

Megan and Liz have a new single, “Bad For Me" and the girls have left a message for you about the song, which they described on their website as, “…something a little different than anything we’ve ever done.” While the song still has their classic “pop anthem” feel to it, there’s also a hip-hop element with a strong, catchy beat.

The song will be featured in a national campaign for Macy’s mystylelab clothing collection, which will air from now until September 7th, and will also star Megan and Liz! We’re super excited for these sisters and can’t wait to see what happens next for them. Check out the lyric video below!.
