The new thriller “Alex Cross” starring Matthew Fox and Tyler Perry will be raising blood pressure in theaters nationwide with its premiere today!
For Tyler the role and the tone of the film are a serious departure from his usual fare, but the biggest change is that it’s his first time ONLY acting and NOT writing, producing, and directing. So, did he have trouble letting go?
“I started writing, because after the first couple of days I realized this is going to be very difficult for me to just sit here. What was easy for me, is to let go. Because Rob [Cohen] had a clear direction and anytime somebody knows where they’re going, I don’t mind following at all,” he tells us.
Just judging by the rave review pouring in Tyler can take direction just as well as he can give it!
