Adele speaks out about her vocal cord surgery in a new interview for 60 Minutes, slated to air Sunday before the Grammy Awards on CBS.
"I had laser surgery," Adele tells Anderson Cooper in the clip. "They put a laser down your throat, cut off the polyp and kind of laser your hemorrhage back together, and fix it.
While she healed, the Grammy-nominated singer was forced to refrain from using her voice. But what did Adele miss - perhaps even more than singing? Swearing! Check out a clip from the interview:
Anderson Coopers interview with Adele airs Sunday, February 12 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Adele will take the stage for the first time since her surgery Sunday night at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.
