Vanilla Ice Almost Burned His Iconic American Flag Jacket
Vanilla Ice stars alongside Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg in the new comedy 'That’s My Boy'
When you think of the 90s there are a few things that stand out: bleached hair, flannels, and Vanilla Ice‘s American Flag jacket. Well, maybe not the last one but you’ll sure remember it after seeing the upcoming film, “That’s My Boy!” That’s right folks, Vanilla Ice is back and better than ever in this movie starring funny guys Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler.
Ice plays himself in the movie, who is an old friend of Sandler’s character. He told Zap2It: “I’m excited to bring back some of the old school and reminisce a little bit.” Although the signature American flag jacket won’t be making an appearance in film, we wanted to know what ever came of the classic piece. So, we asked him!
Mr. Ice told us: “At one point about 10 years ago I was going to burn it, and film myself burning it, because I had a problem with my whole past…but I’ve made peace with it and now I love it. Holla pop your collar!”
