Snooki and Jersey Shore Kids to Help Restore the Shore
The cast of the reality show is getting together with MTV to help rebuild their beloved Seaside Heights after Hurricane Sandy
Hurricane Sandy has left a path of destruction throughout the northeast region, one of the most affected areas being the Jersey Shore. The famous boardwalk is demolished and many of the Shores most memorable attractions and rides now sit in the Atlantic Ocean. A devastating blow for many, but this leaves us also wondering, how does the cast of Jersey Shore feel and are they doing anything to help rebuild their beloved Seaside Heights, which they called home summer after summer for the past few years?
The answer is, yes. Snooki helped raise $7 million for relief efforts on Good Morning America:
Wow GMA raises 7 million! Thank you everyone for calling in!!! ❤— NiC0LE P0LiZZi (@snooki) November 5, 2012
She is also encouraging her followers to donate what they can to those in need in Staten Island, an area greatly affected by Sandy. Many residents of SI have lost everything.

The new mom also revealed that her and her castmates will be coming together with MTV for a telethon to help raise more funds to help restore the Jersey Shore. "Restore the Shore" will be held November 15th, broadcast from New York City, which was also hit hard by the storm.
