The superstar rocks the morning show, and reveals thoughts on Miley Cyrus copycat hairdo

(Yahoo!) - Rain or shine, Pink was going to perform on "Today"— and unfortunately for her and her fans, it was raining. The "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" singer rocked out in front of soggy New Yorkers on Tuesday morning, the same day her sixth album, The Truth About Love, was released (and went straight to No. 1 on iTunes). "Thank u to everyone who came to play in the rain with me at the today show!" she tweeted after the concert. "You guys are hardcore!!!!! I love you for it So! Much! Fun!"
The 33-year-old insists that although shes married and a mom now, the same old edgy, foul-mouthed Pink remains on her new album. "Im still crazy, but Im just goofier," she told Matt Lauer, Ryan Seacrest, and Savannah Guthrie from the stage. "Its a goofy side of crazy."
Still, her new lifestyle may have affected the recording of The Truth About Love just a bit — "It was a lot more sober," she joked — but Pink approached the process in the same way she has the past 12 years. "I go into every record feeling, God, I hope I can still sing. I hope I have something to say. What if I dont? I might actually be useless," she admitted. "And then 40 songs later, Im wrapping up and hoping that someone else is moved by it."

Before she hit the stage to perform, Lauer asked Pink what he considered "the most important" question: What does she think about Miley Cyrus copycat bleached blond, half-shaved hairdo? "I think shes beautiful," she revealed. "I think she rocks it harder than I do. Everyone has long brown hair … when two girls get fearless and shave their heads, its a big deal. I just think were maybe a little more daring. I love Miley."

P!nk will be performing at the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas September 21 and 22. Hear what she had to say about the festival:
