Mariah Carey Planning To Drop New Album In The Spring

Mariah Careys comeback single wasnt exactly "Triumphant" on the charts, but shes still moving ahead with a full album set to drop in the spring. Mimi is working with American Idols Randy Jackson, one of her oldest collaborators, on the still-untitled disc. Youll see it in stores after youve gotten used to seeing her on Idol every week.

Jackson tells Billboard, "The album is going to be one of the great Mariah Carey albums, with a lot of stuff that youve come to love about her over the years. We wanted to have something for all of her fans."
