Wil.i.am is going to infinity and beyond –at least with his new song! Black Eyed Peas singer is set to release a new album this year on October 15, 2012, titled #willpower. The new song made its debut live in the solar system all the way from Mars. Yes, you heard us right, we are talking about the tiny red planet. Watch the video below.
The song, 'Reach For The Stars,' a track written and produced by Wil.i.am, was also teamed up with NASA over the new premiere. NASA said the Curiosity Rover broadcasted the song from Mars. Although the Curiosity Rover does not have speakers, according to NASA, it transferred through radio waves down to Earth. The premiere of the song played live on NASA TV.
As for the new album, you can expect to hear a numerous amount of huge collaborations including Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Britney Spears, and more. Britney even sent out a tweet yesterday announcing she was leaving the studio after recording with Will. The pop sensation also sent out encouraging words for the premiere of his new song.
