Nas and Amy Winehouse unite once again on a track he calls a “magical” experience.
Less than a year after Amy Winehouse passed away in London, the singer’s memorable voice has reappeared on a new track with Nas. Premiering on BBC Radio this week, Nas’ latest collaboration with the singer brings the two friends together once again.
Titled “Cherry Wine,” the single was reportedly recorded in 2008 which Nas describes as an amazing experience. “It was just magical,” Nas said when describing the collaboration process with Amy. “It just happened. It was supposed to happen. She made it happen.”
The single will be featured on Nas’ upcoming album, Life Is Good, scheduled for release on July 17. Listen to Amy’s unique voice that we miss so much on the track below.
