Lady Gaga Dyes Hair Louis Vuitton Brown

(Yahoo!) - In her 2011 song "Hair," Lady Gaga sang "I am my hair" — so then what does her new brunette color mean? The "Edge of Glory" singer debuted the look on her LittleMonsters.com site before stepping out in Amsterdam. On Monday, she tweeted:

Definitely feeling less blond lately and little more progressive brunette. I am LOUIS VUITTON BROWN.

But shes not a total brunette. The singer — who has also donned wigs in yellow, rainbow, and turquoise — did leave a streak of blond hair just above her left ear, so shell be "Lady when its down, and Gaga when its up," she wrote. Soon after, she added that she may get rid of the white stripe. She tweeted:

i think Im gonna do away with this blond streak, feeling like a purist. gosh i forgot what it was like to have soft hair!

The new look has certainly hit a high note with her adoring fans. Just mere hours after Gaga posted a photo of her darker do, it had been re-tweeted more than 2,100 times — and all the comments were rave reviews.
