Jennifer Lawrence Almost Turned Down Her Role As Katniss!
Jennifer's new thriller 'House at the End of the Street' opens September 21st
The character of Katniss Everdeen has made actress Jennifer Lawrence a household name. But is it true that Jennifer may have missed her shot at District 12 all together?
The recently dark brunette beauty stars in the new movie “House at the End of the Street” releasing next Friday, September 21. She has scored this role and many others because of 'The Hunger Games'character she played, making her a massive global star.
But surprisingly, it turns out when Jennifer was offered the role, she wasn’t sure she was going to take it. She tells On Air with Ryan Seacrest, 'Saying yes (would) completely change my life, and I didn’t know if it was going to be for the better.'
Jennifer tells us that, thankfully, it was her mom that offered her a friendly reminder: 'Jennifer always said she didn’t care about the size of the movie, she cared about the story; with ‘The Hunger Games’, she was finally being offered a big movie, that actually had a story line she adored.'
That made her decision an easy one. We suppose we should thank Jennifer’s mom for her outstanding Katniss performance, which has wowed audiences and lovers of 'The Hunger Games' everywhere.
