‘Idol’ Alum Colton Dixon Used To Sing Garth Brooks In His Underwear As A Kid!
7th place finisher on “American Idol,” Colton Dixon, will be presenting at the CMT Music Awards tonight.
Tonight at 8pm on the CMT Music Awards this year’s 7th place finisher on “American Idol,” the uniquely coifed Colton Dixon will be presenting alongside fellow “Idol” finalist Skylar Laine. Colton is definitely more of a rock and roll kinda guy than a country artist, so is he actually interested in getting into country music?
Colton confessed: “Country music isn’t my forte. However, I grew up with it. As a kid I used to sing ‘Thunder Road‘ by Garth Brooks in my tighty whities…definitely partial to country music, but I will stick to what I do best!” He also told us he will be getting into the spirit of things tonight by wearing a pair of cowboy boots to the show, which seems more appropriate for the occasion than a pair of tighty whities!
