Glee Star Lea Michele Starts Recording New Album
The singer/actress announced that she has begun working on her very first solo album
NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Musician and actor Lea Michele, of "Glee" fame, has announced shes started working on her first solo album.
The Bronx native took to Twitter Friday to tell fans about the new album, though shes keeping mum on the details, the New York Daily News reported.
At the studio right now at my first recording session for MY SOLO ALBUM!! Im so happy and cant wait for you all to hear this record!!

She followed with a second tweet saying she was recording in the room next to "X Factor" judge Demi Lovato.
Best news is that @ddlovato is the room right next door 2 me recording her album! :) Shes so sweet & just gave me such great motivation!

Lea hasnt released many details about the nature of her upcoming album.
"Its a pretty slow process right now so I think we are figuring it out as we go but I do want to make a pop album rather than a Broadway standards album," she told Womens Wear Daily.
