Christina Aguilera Wants To Reunite With Her Estranged Father

Christina Aguilera is considering reconciling with her estranged father.
The Voice coach has long been open about the physical and mental abuse her mother Shelly suffered at the hands of former U.S. army sergeant Fausto. The pair eventually fled and moved in with the singers grandmother.
Aguilera was estranged from her father for a decade until they briefly reunited in 2009 before the superstar realized there were too many bad memories to make him a constant in her life.
But now she admits that at 31 years old, its possibly the right time to give her dad another chance.
She tells Latina magazine, "Ive talked about how rough things were for me and Im sure hes heard it. He cant be thrilled about it. So maybe one day we can do lunch... Im 31 years old now. Maybe its time."
