Listen To Niall Horan's New Single 'Too Much To Ask'

Slow and steady appears to be the tactic with the launch of Niall Horan's solo career and yet another milestone in that mission has been hit with the release of his new single, "Too Much To Ask."

On the track, which dropped on Friday (September 15), Horan sings a sad ode about living life without his lover. It's in vein of the former One Direction bandmate's previously released tracks, "Slow Hands" and "This Town," aiming for a sound that feels pop, grown and yet still familiar to his fans.

You can find "Too Much To Ask" on Horan's forthcoming solo debut, Flicker, which drops October 20 and was announced earlier this week along with 2018 tour dates. The Maren Morris-assisted trek begins next July in Houston, Texas and will continue on throughout the country until late September. Even though Morris is scheduled to open up for the pop crooner, she won't be in attendance to all of the shows as she's not listed as a performer in two of the cities.

"US and Canada . The Flicker world tour is coming to you summer / autumn 2018. I can't wait to get back on the road and play this album for you," the 24-year-old captioned a promotional photo for the forthcoming trek. "And.... my good friend the incredible @marenmorris is joining me for all of it."
