Ed Sheeran appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday to perform his coming-of-age single "Castle On The Hill" with support from a live band and two backup singers.

Sheeran, who strummed his acoustic guitar in tandem with a bassist, gave a pitch-perfect deliverance of the wistful lyrics about his formative teenage years.

"Castle On The Hill," a co-write with Benny Blanco, is a track lifted off his latest ÷ album. The record's first single, "Shape of You," peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 for 14 weeks.

Sheeran will take ÷ on an accompanying tour through North America starting June 29 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. He will make pitstops in major cities including Toronto, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago before concluding in Nashville on October 6 & 7.
